Location: Jalandhar, Punjab – On-site

Shift: Night Shift | 7:30 PM – 4:30 AM IST

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for a Project Manager – Construction who can manage construction projects from planning through completion and take strong ownership of team coordination, follow-ups, timelines, and project execution.

The ideal candidate should be proactive, organized, and comfortable chasing the team for updates, identifying delays, and ensuring every pending item is completed on time.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage construction projects from start to completion.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review project progress, pending items, deadlines, and blockers.
- Follow up with the Design, Permit, Estimation, Procurement, Construction, and Operations teams.
- Track every project milestone and make sure tasks are completed within the agreed timeline.
- Chase team members for pending tasks and updates and escalate delays when required.
- Maintain a clear list of open items, responsible persons, and due dates.
- Identify project delays, issues, and dependencies and take immediate action.
- Coordinate with US-based teams, contractors, vendors, architects, designers, and clients.
- Review project plans, drawings, estimates, schedules, and construction requirements.
- Coordinate with the permit team regarding submissions, corrections, approvals, and inspections.
- Conduct regular project-status meetings and provide clear updates to management.
- Maintain project information, task updates, comments, and deadlines in ClickUp.
- Ensure all team members update their assigned tasks regularly.
- Review project progress daily and prepare weekly status reports.
- Ensure projects stay on track with respect to timeline, budget, quality, and scope.
- Escalate critical issues to management with a proposed solution.




- Ensure proper handover between different departments and prevent communication gaps.

Team Management & Follow-Up Responsibility The Project Manager will be responsible for: Meeting → Assign → Track → Follow Up → Escalate → Close

- Conduct daily/regular team meetings.
- Clearly assign responsibilities and deadlines.
- Follow up before the deadline, not after it.
- Check ClickUp for task status and comments.
- Identify overdue and blocked tasks.
- Contact the responsible employee directly for updates.
- Escalate repeatedly delayed tasks to management.
- Confirm completion before marking the project/task complete.

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in construction/project management.
- Experience with residential construction, remodeling, ADU, or similar projects preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and project coordination.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and plans.
- Strong follow-up and team-management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project-management software.
- ClickUp experience is a plus.
- Robust English communication skills.
- Comfortable working with US-based teams and US time zones.
- Willing to work on-site in Jalandhar during the night shift.

The main responsibility is not just to track projects but to actively drive the team, follow up on every pending item, and make sure deadlines are met. Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
