Role Description The Project In charge (Fire Fighting) will oversee full-cycle execution of fire protection projects, from planning and site coordination to commissioning and handover. This full time, on-site role is based in Mumbai and involves supervising installation of fire fighting and suppression systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards, codes, and client specifications. The role includes coordinating with clients, consultants, and internal teams, preparing project schedules, monitoring progress, and managing resources and subcontractors.





The Project In charge will conduct inspections and testing of systems, maintain documentation and reports, and support the AMC team in ensuring systems remain fully operational. The position also requires active enforcement of safety practices and participation in site safety meetings and audits.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Fire Prevention and Life Safety practices for industrial and commercial projects.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Fire Protection and Fire Safety standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Candidates should possess practical experience with Fire Suppression Systems, including design understanding, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Fire, or Safety Engineering (or related field) preferred, with experience in fire fighting projects.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and project specifications, and manage site execution activities.
- Strong project management, coordination, and documentation skills, with proficiency in MS Office and basic project tracking tools.
- Effective communication skills, capacity to lead site teams, and commitment to strict safety procedures.
- Exposure to high-hazard or large-scale industrial/commercial projects and familiarity with relevant Indian and international fire safety standards is an advantage.
