– Project Engineer

Reporting To: Project Manager / Project Head

1. Job Purpose

The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and executing interior fit-out projects at site, ensuring that work is completed within the approved time, cost, quality, safety, and client requirements.

1. Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

- Study project drawings, BOQ, specifications, and scope of work.
- Plan daily and weekly site activities as per project schedule.
- Coordinate execution of civil, carpentry, furniture, electrical, plumbing, ceiling, flooring, painting, glass, and other interior works.
- Monitor project progress against planned timelines.
- Identify delays and take corrective action.

Site Supervision

- Supervise contractors, subcontractors, carpenters, technicians, and workers.
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Check dimensions, levels, alignment, finishing, and installation quality.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify defects or incomplete works.
- Ensure proper housekeeping at the project site.

Drawing & Technical Coordination

- Read and understand AutoCAD drawings, shop drawings,



furniture drawings, and MEP drawings.
- Coordinate with the Design, Production, Purchase, and Site teams.
- Clarify technical issues and drawing discrepancies before execution.
- Ensure latest approved drawings are available at site.

Material & Resource Coordination

- Coordinate with Purchase and Stores for timely availability of materials.
- Monitor material consumption and prevent unnecessary wastage.
- Check materials received at site against approved specifications.
- Coordinate manpower, tools, equipment, and other resources required for execution.

Quality Control

- Ensure workmanship meets company and client quality standards.
- Conduct quality checks at different stages of execution.
- Prepare and follow snag/rectification lists.
- Coordinate with the Quality team for inspections and approvals.
- Ensure proper finishing and final handover standards.

Client & Consultant Coordination

- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and contractors at site.
- Attend site meetings and discuss project progress and technical matters.
- Communicate site requirements and issues to the Project Manager.
- Follow up on approvals, measurements, and site instructions.

Pay: ₹26,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
