Qualification

Diploma / Degree Engineer

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical, Production, Metallurgy or relevant engineering field.

Experience 2–5 Years of relevant experience in Wire Industry

Salary

₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month

Salary will be based on qualification, experience and technical competency.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor with strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in the Steel Wire, GI Wire and Wire Products manufacturing industry.

The candidate will be responsible for production planning, execution, manpower management, machine utilization, quality, productivity and achieving daily/monthly production targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute daily, weekly and monthly production activities.
- Achieve production targets as per production planning and dispatch requirements.
- Manage production operations related to Steel Wire, GI Wire and Wire Products.
- Have strong knowledge of Wire Drawing, Galvanizing, Annealing, Straightening, Cutting, Coiling and other wire manufacturing processes.
- Monitor machine performance, production efficiency and downtime.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines and raw materials.
- Monitor wire quality parameters such as diameter, tensile strength, elongation, zinc coating and surface finish.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, Planning and Dispatch departments.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Reduce rejection, wastage, rework and process losses.
- Ensure proper production records, shift reports and MIS are maintained.




- Supervise and manage production operators, supervisors and other shop-floor manpower.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety procedures and company policies.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Department for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce production costs.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and 5S practices on the shop floor.

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates currently working or having previous experience in Steel Wire, GI Wire, Wire Drawing, Galvanizing or Wire Products manufacturing companies will be preferred.

The candidate should have 2–5 years of hands-on experience in the wire industry and should be capable of independently handling day-to-day production operations.
