Production MIS Executive – Food Manufacturing Industry

Department: Production / Manufacturing Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan Industry: Food Manufacturing / FMCG Reporting To: Plant Head / Production Head / Factory Manager Experience: 2–5 Years in Food Manufacturing / FMCG / Production MIS Qualification: Graduate in any discipline; Diploma / Degree in Production, Operations, Engineering, B.Com, BBA, or related field preferred.

Job Purpose We are looking for a Production MIS Executive with hands-on experience in the core food manufacturing / FMCG industry to manage, consolidate, analyse, and report all critical manufacturing and plant-related data. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate MIS related to production, machinery capacity & utilization, maintenance, manpower/man-hours, quality, procurement, raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, dispatch, sales coordination, wastage, efficiency, and overall plant performance. The role requires strong coordination with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Stores, Procurement, Sales, Dispatch, and Accounts departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Production MIS & Daily Reporting Prepare and circulate Daily Production Reports (DPR) and shift-wise production MIS. Track planned vs. actual production and identify production gaps. Maintain SKU-wise, line-wise and machine-wise production data. Monitor production achievement against daily, weekly and monthly targets. Prepare production efficiency, productivity and wastage reports. Track batch-wise production, rejection and reprocessing. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly management MIS.

2. Machinery Capacity & Utilization Maintain detailed records of machine capacity, installed capacity and actual utilization. Prepare machine-wise production capacity and utilization reports Monitor machine running hours, idle hours and downtime. Analyse production losses due to machine breakdown, changeover, cleaning, manpower shortage, material shortage, etc. Prepare Capacity Utilization Reports and highlight under-utilized / over-utilized machines.

3. Maintenance MIS Coordinate with the Maintenance Department for daily maintenance updates. Maintain machine breakdown and downtime records. Prepare machine-wise breakdown, preventive maintenance and repair MIS. Track preventive maintenance schedules and pending maintenance activities. Maintain records of spare parts consumption and maintenance expenses. Prepare monthly machinery downtime and maintenance performance reports.

4. Manpower & Man-Hour MIS Maintain department-wise and production-line-wise manpower data. Track man-hours, overtime, absenteeism and manpower utilization. Calculate manpower productivity against production output. Prepare manpower requirement vs.



availability reports. Analyse production losses caused by manpower shortages.

5. Quality MIS Coordinate with the Quality Department for production quality data. Maintain records of rejection, wastage, rework, deviations and quality complaints. Prepare SKU/batch-wise rejection and quality performance reports. Track quality-related production losses. Maintain CAPA / corrective-action tracking MIS wherever required.

- Raw Material & Procurement MIS Coordinate with Stores and Procurement for raw material availability. Maintain RM and PM requirement vs. availability reports. Track material consumption against standard/BOM. Highlight shortages and materials affecting production plans. Prepare procurement requirement and pending material reports. Monitor stock levels of critical raw materials and packaging materials.
- Finished Goods & Inventory MIS Maintain finished goods production, stock and dispatch MIS. Track opening stock, production, dispatch/sales and closing stock. Prepare SKU-wise finished goods inventory reports. Monitor slow-moving and excess finished goods. Coordinate with Stores and Dispatch for stock reconciliation. Track batch-wise production and finished goods availability.
- Sales & Production Coordination Coordinate with Sales / Commercial teams regarding production requirements. Prepare sales requirement vs. production availability reports. Highlight stock shortages affecting sales and dispatch. Support production planning based on sales requirements and stock position. Prepare SKU-wise demand, production and closing-stock analysis.

9. Production Planning Support Assist the Production Head in preparing daily/weekly/monthly production plans. Prepare production schedules based on sales demand, inventory, machine capacity, manpower and material availability. Track plan vs. actual production. Highlight deviations and reasons for non-achievement. Maintain production planning and scheduling MIS.

- Cost, Efficiency & Management MIS Prepare plant performance dashboards for management review.

Track key parameters such as:



o Production quantity o Production efficiency o Machine utilization o Machine downtime o Man-hour productivity o Material consumption o Wastage/rejection o Rework o Overtime o RM/PM availability o Finished goods stock o Dispatch o Production cost indicators Identify major production losses and prepare variance reports. Provide accurate data and analysis to management for decision-making.

Ability to analyse large volumes of production data. Strong coordination and communication skills. High level of accuracy in data entry and reporting. Ability to identify data discrepancies and reporting gaps. Valuable understanding of ERP / production software will be an advantage. Knowledge of Power BI / advanced MIS dashboards will be an added advantage.

Industry

Experience – Preferred Candidates from Food Manufacturing / FMCG / Namkeen / Snacks / Bakery / Dairy / Confectionery / Ready-to-Eat / Packaged Food / Beverage manufacturing industries will be preferred. Candidates should have practical exposure to a factory/plant environment and should understand the relationship between production, machinery, manpower, quality, raw material, inventory, procurement, dispatch and sales requirements.
