Job Title: Production Manager – Custom Metal Fabrication & Architectural Art Job

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Production Manager to oversee our custom metal fabrication shop. In this role, you will lead the manufacturing team to deliver high-end architectural pieces, custom metal art, structural interior partitions, and precision CNC-machined components.

The ideal candidate has a deep background in advanced metal fabrication, strong leadership skills, and the ability to translate complex custom designs into effective production workflows. You will be responsible for ensuring all projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.Key Responsibilities

- Production Scheduling & Workflow: Plan, coordinate, and execute daily production schedules to meet tight project deadlines. Optimize shop floor layout and resource allocation.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and supervise a team of CNC operators, welders, fabricators, and finishers. Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and craftsmanship.
- Technical Oversight: Oversee operations across various processes, including CNC programming/machining, laser cutting, welding (TIG/MIG), forming, and specialized finishing for custom art.
- Quality Control: Implement and enforce rigorous quality standards to ensure custom architectural pieces and artwork meet exact design specifications and client expectations.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with designers, project managers,



and engineers to review technical drawings, evaluate project feasibility, and provide accurate material and labor estimates.
- Inventory & Procurement: Monitor raw material stock levels (steel, aluminum, brass, etc.) and coordinate with suppliers to prevent production bottlenecks.
- Maintenance & Safety: Ensure all shop machinery and CNC equipment are regularly maintained. Enforce local workshop safety regulations strictly.

Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in production management, specifically within custom metal fabrication, architectural metalwork, or high-end artistic manufacturing.
- Technical Expertise: Strong working knowledge of CNC machinery (routers, plasma, or lasers), sheet metal fabrication, and advanced welding techniques.
- Blueprint Literacy: Ability to read and interpret complex architectural drawings, 3D CAD models, and engineering schematics.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot technical production hurdles unique to custom, one-off artistic or architectural builds.
- Software Skills: Proficiency with ERP/MRP production scheduling software and familiarity with CAD/CAM programs (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between design concepts and floor execution.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
