Role Description The Production Head is a full time, on-site role based in Pune City, responsible for overseeing end-to-end production operations and ensuring efficient, quality-driven output. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and scheduling production activities, managing resources and workflows, and monitoring performance against targets.

The role involves leading and mentoring the production team, implementing process improvements, and coordinating with cross-functional departments such as quality, maintenance, procurement, and logistics.

The Production

Head will also ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, maintain accurate production documentation, and support strategic decisions related to capacity, cost optimization, and technology adoption.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong production management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
- Candidates should possess leadership and people management skills, with experience in team supervision, performance management, and conflict resolution.




- Candidates should possess operational excellence skills, including process improvement, quality control, and familiarity with lean or similar methodologies.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills for data-driven decision-making, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Candidates should possess communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering, production, operations management, or a related field; advanced qualifications or certifications in operations or quality are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a production leadership role within manufacturing or a similar environment, with a track record of meeting output, quality, and cost targets.
- Comfort with using production management software and basic proficiency in standard office and reporting tools.
