1. Job Purpose

To plan, monitor, and improve footwear production processes to achieve production targets with optimum utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and resources while maintaining required quality and safety standards.

1. Key Responsibilities

Production Planning &

- Execution

- Plan and monitor daily production activities as per production schedules.

- Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.

- Monitor production line performance and identify bottlenecks.

- Coordinate with Production, PPC, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and other departments.

- Ensure smooth flow of materials and work-in-progress through the production process.

Process &

- Productivity Improvement

- Study production processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

- Improve productivity through effective manpower and machine utilization.

- Monitor line efficiency, output, rejection, rework, and downtime.

- Implement process improvements to reduce wastage and production losses.

- Support continuous improvement and productivity-enhancement initiatives.

Manpower Management

- Monitor manpower deployment according to production requirements.

- Ensure proper allocation of operators and helpers across production lines.





- Identify skill gaps and coordinate with supervisors/trainers for operator training.

- Monitor operator performance and productivity.

Machine &

- Production Equipment

- Monitor machine utilization and production-related breakdowns.

- Coordinate with the Maintenance team to minimize machine downtime.

- Ensure machines are operated according to standard operating procedures.

- Support machine setting, line balancing, and process optimization.

Quality Coordination

- Work closely with the Quality team to minimize defects and rejection.

- Identify root causes of recurring production defects.

- Implement corrective and preventive actions.

- Ensure production follows approved specifications, standards, and work instructions.

Production Data &

- Reporting

- Maintain daily production records and performance reports.

- Track key production parameters such as:

- Production output

- Productivity

- Line efficiency

- Rejection rate

- Rework

- Machine downtime

- Manpower utilization

- Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly production reports to the reporting manager.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
