We are looking for a Product Research & Development Executive to identify new and trending toy products, study market demand, analyse competitors and support purchasing decisions.

The role will focus on finding profitable, fast-moving products that can be introduced into Ratnaakar Impex's wholesale product range.

Key Responsibilities

- Research new and trending toys across Amazon, Flipkart, FirstCry, IndiaMART, Instagram, YouTube and other marketplaces.
- Regularly visit toy stores, wholesale markets, exhibitions and competitors to understand what is selling.
- Identify new products across categories such as die-cast cars, ride-ons, RC toys, soft toys, newborn toys, board games, drones, etc.
- Speak with retailers and the Sales team to understand customer demand and products retailers are asking for.
- Track competitors' products, pricing, packaging and new launches.
- Work with the Purchase team to identify suitable suppliers and compare purchase price, MOQ, quality and margins.
- Analyse internal sales and inventory data to identify fast-moving, slow-moving and repeat-order products.




- Recommend which products to test, reorder, increase quantities or discontinue.
- Maintain a simple New Product Tracker covering product, supplier, cost, expected selling price, margin, MOQ and market demand.
- Test new products in small quantities before recommending larger purchases.
- Present a short weekly product opportunity report to management.

Ideal Candidate
- 0–2 years of experience in product research, merchandising, purchasing, retail, e-commerce or market research.
- Fresh graduates with strong research and commercial skills can also apply.
- Valuable knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and online marketplaces.
- Comfortable visiting markets and stores for field research.
- Strong understanding of pricing, margins and customer demand.
- Curious about new products and trends.
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi. Kannada is an advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
