Role & responsibilities

Product Designer Jewellery

- 2+ years of relevant experience in Jewellery Product Design, Product Development or Jewellery Manufacturing.

- Strong knowledge of Gems & Jewellery, with expertise in Gold, Diamonds and Precious/Semi-Precious Gemstones.

- Good understanding of jewellery construction, stone setting, manufacturing techniques, finishing and production feasibility.

- Proficiency in Jewellery CAD/Design Software such as Rhino, MatrixGold, JewelCAD, Design or equivalent.

- Ability to convert management concepts and product discussions into detailed, practical and manufacturable designs.

- Hands-on experience in prototype and sample development, including coordination with CAD designers, artisans, manufacturers and production teams.

- Strong creative and visualization skills with the ability to develop innovative, wearable and commercially viable jewellery designs.

- Valuable market and trend knowledge,



including customer preferences, competitor products, jewellery styles and emerging trends.

- Understanding of design costing, metal usage, stone requirements, weight and commercial viability.

- Ability to identify and resolve design and sampling issues while maintaining quality and design intent.

- Strong attention to detail, communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects within timelines.

- Dedicated, ownership-driven and committed towards work, with a strong passion for jewellery design and product development.

- Creative, technically sound and market-oriented mindset with the ability to take a product from concept design prototype sample manufacturing.
