Procurement Financial Analyst 3+ Years – Pune / Gurugram / Mumbai

Are you a finance and procurement professional with strong analytical skills and experience managing procurement expenditure, financial reporting and forecasting? We are looking for a Procurement Financial Analyst to support contract-driven expenses, procurement processes, financial analysis and business decision-making within a dynamic global organization.

Responsibilities

- Review, approve and track purchase requisitions and purchase orders while monitoring procurement expenditure.
- Manage contract-driven expenses, including software, data redistribution and external service costs.
- Review expense accruals, research financial adjustments and support monthly financial reporting and performance analysis.
- Prepare financial forecasts, expenditure analysis and budget-versus-actual reporting for procurement-related expenses.
- Partner with procurement, accounting, finance, data and business teams to gather information and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare financial analysis for proposed procurement requests, contracts and strategic initiatives.
- Provide timely and accurate financial reporting with actionable commentary and insights for business stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Maintain and analyze data from multiple sources to support monthly financial deliverables.
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement and finance processes through automation, standardization and best practices.

Requirements

- 3+ years of relevant experience in Procurement Finance, Financial Analysis, FP&A;,



Procurement Analytics or a related function.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, including Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), vendor/contract expenses and expenditure tracking.
- Experience in financial reporting, forecasting, accruals, budget monitoring and variance analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify inconsistencies and investigate financial information.
- Excellent MS Excel skills with the ability to work with large datasets and build financial analysis/reporting.
- Exposure to Oracle Financials or similar ERP systems, Ariba and Oracle SmartView will be preferred.
- Exposure to Generative AI, process automation or financial reporting automation will be an added advantage.
- Robust communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with finance, procurement, business and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under tight deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy.
