Role Description The Process/Production Manager for the agrosap plant will oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring safe, productive, and consistent manufacturing of guar-based products. This full-time, on-site role is located in Kanpur and involves planning and monitoring production schedules, managing workflow, and coordinating with maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams. The individual will be responsible for optimizing process parameters, implementing standard operating procedures, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.

Key activities include supervising plant staff, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental guidelines, maintaining production records,



and supporting troubleshooting of technical and process issues. The role also includes collaboration with management on capacity planning, cost control, and adherence to quality standards required for domestic and international customers.

Qualifications

- Strong process and production management skills, including experience in overseeing plant operations and optimizing manufacturing workflows.
- Knowledge of chemical or agro-based manufacturing processes, preferably in gums, powders, or related industrial products.
- Ability to implement and maintain standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
- Competence in data analysis, production reporting, and use of basic manufacturing or ERP software tools.
- Effective leadership capabilities, including team supervision, coaching, and performance management in a plant environment.
- Good communication and coordination skills for working with cross-functional teams such as maintenance, quality, logistics, and management.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Experience in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., lean manufacturing, 5S, basic root cause analysis) is an advantage.
- Commitment to workplace safety, environmental responsibility, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
