Job Summary

We are seeking a Principal Post-Silicon Validation Engineer to lead silicon bring-up, characterization, validation, and debug of mixed-signal image sensor products. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, define validation strategies, drive complex debug activities, and influence product quality from development through production.

Responsibilities

- Lead post-silicon bring-up, validation, characterization, and debug of mixed-signal and image sensor products.
- Define validation strategies, test plans, and coverage methodologies.
- Architect and enhance validation platforms, automation frameworks, and debug infrastructure.
- Drive root cause analysis and resolution of complex silicon, hardware, firmware, and system-level issues.
- Collaborate with Design, Verification, Firmware, Product Engineering,



Reliability, and Manufacturing teams to ensure product quality and successful execution.
- Analyze validation data and provide technical recommendations to improve product performance, reliability, and yield.
- Drive innovation, automation, and continuous improvement in validation methodologies and processes.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across validation programs.
- Support product qualification, customer escalations, and strategic debug activities.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in post-silicon validation, characterization, or bench validation of analog, digital, and mixed-signal semiconductor products.
- Strong expertise in silicon bring-up, debug methodologies, failure analysis, and root cause investigation.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and power measurement instruments.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation, test development, and data analysis.
- Strong understanding of interfaces and protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO, MIPI CSI-2, and USB.




- Proven experience defining validation strategies and leading complex validation efforts across multiple product programs.
- Experience with image sensor validation, characterization, debug, and image quality analysis is preferred.
- Exposure to pre-silicon verification, FPGA prototyping, or emulation is a plus.
- Experience with statistical characterization, PVT analysis, and production test correlation is desirable.
- Strong communication, technical leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, influence technical direction, and establish validation best practices
