Position Summary The school is looking for an experienced and dynamic Principal/Headmistress to lead academic and administrative operations, drive institutional growth, and uphold the Shemford brand's standards of teaching excellence and student development.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide overall academic and administrative leadership to the school
- Implement and monitor curriculum delivery in line with CBSE guidelines and Shemford's pedagogical framework
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff
- Ensure discipline, safety, and a positive learning environment for students
- Drive admissions and enrollment growth in coordination with the management/franchise team
- Monitor academic performance and implement improvement plans where required
- Liaise with parents, School Management Committee,



and the Franchisor/Head Office
- Ensure compliance with CBSE norms, statutory regulations, and school policies
- Oversee budgeting, resource planning, and infrastructure management in coordination with the management
- Represent the school at inter-school, community, and board-related events

Candidate Requirements

- Postgraduate degree in Education/relevant subject; B.Ed. mandatory; M.Ed. preferred
- Minimum 8–10 years of teaching experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role (Principal/Vice-Principal/Academic Coordinator)
- Prior experience with a CBSE-affiliated school is essential
- Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills
- Sound knowledge of CBSE curriculum, examination patterns, and compliance requirements
- Willingness to relocate to Bagaha, West Champaran, Bihar
