Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching and Learning

- Plan and deliver engaging, child-centered lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.
- Use creative teaching methods such as storytelling, songs, rhymes, games, art, and hands-on activities.
- Develop children's early literacy, numeracy, communication, and motor skills.
- Encourage active participation and independent learning.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.

Classroom Management
- Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Establish classroom routines and behavior expectations.
- Monitor children's safety during classroom and outdoor activities.
- Organize and maintain learning materials and classroom displays.

Child Development and Assessment
- Observe and assess children's academic and developmental progress.
- Maintain individual student portfolios and assessment records.
- Identify learning or behavioral concerns and communicate them appropriately.
- Provide timely feedback to parents and school leadership.

Parent Communication
- Build positive relationships with parents and guardians.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings and share student progress.
- Communicate regularly regarding classroom activities, achievements, and concerns.
- Support parents with strategies to reinforce learning at home.

Curriculum and Planning
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, teaching aids, and activity schedules.
- Participate in curriculum development and school initiatives.
- Integrate experiential and play-based learning approaches.
- Plan celebrations, events,



and special assemblies relevant to the age group.

Professional Responsibilities
- Attend staff meetings, workshops, and career development programs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices.
- Follow school policies, child protection guidelines, and safety procedures.
- Contribute to the overall growth and reputation of the school.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or relevant field.
- Diploma/Certification in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of child development and early learning principles.
