Role Description This is a full-time, on-site PLC Programmer role based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area. The PLC Programmer will design, develop, and program PLC and HMI logic for various control panels and automation systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation of equipment. Daily tasks include creating and modifying ladder logic and function block diagrams, configuring communication networks, integrating SCADA systems, and testing and commissioning control systems at customer sites.

The role involves troubleshooting and optimizing existing automation solutions, preparing technical documentation, and collaborating with electrical design, production, and field service teams.



The PLC Programmer will also support continuous improvement initiatives, adhere to industry standards, and provide technical guidance to colleagues and clients.

Qualifications

- Strong PLC programming skills (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider or similar) and experience with HMI configuration and development.
- Hands-on experience with SCADA systems, industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP), and integration with control panels.
- Knowledge of electrical control circuits, panel wiring practices, motor control (VFDs, soft starters), and industrial automation safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs;, and technical documentation, and to prepare clear project reports and test procedures.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose issues in office and implement effective corrective actions.
- Relevant technical education such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or infrastructure automation projects; familiarity with high voltage and LT panel environments is an advantage.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work safely in field conditions and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
