WE ARE HIRING: PLANT SUPERVISOR

Salary: ₹40,000–₹60,000 per month, depending on experience and capability

Role Overview

We require an experienced Plant Supervisor to independently manage daily production activities at our transformer manufacturing facility. The candidate must ensure timely production, proper workforce allocation, material control, quality compliance and coordination between production, testing and management.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise complete transformer production activities, including core assembly, HV/LV winding, tanking, connections, oil filtration, drying and final assembly.
- Prepare daily and weekly production plans according to delivery commitments.
- Allocate work to technicians, winders, fitters, welders and helpers.
- Monitor workmanship, dimensions, clearances and stage-wise quality checks.
- Ensure correct material consumption and control copper, CRGO, transformer oil and other production materials.
- Coordinate with design, purchase, stores, quality, testing and dispatch teams.
- Maintain production, material-consumption and job-progress records.
- Identify production delays and take corrective action.
- Ensure compliance with drawings,



specifications, BIS requirements and approved manufacturing procedures.
- Maintain plant discipline, housekeeping and worker safety.
- Report daily production status and critical issues directly to management.

Candidate Requirements

- Diploma/BE in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- Practical experience in distribution/power transformer manufacturing is strongly preferred.
- Good knowledge of transformer core, winding, insulation, assembly, oil processing and testing.
- Ability to read production drawings, winding details and bills of materials.
- Strong workforce-handling, planning and problem-solving skills.
- Candidates capable of independently controlling the complete shop floor will be preferred.

Products Manufactured Oil-filled distribution transformers, dry-type transformers, inverter-duty transformers, compact substations and HT/LT panels.
