Fermentis Lifesciences (FLS) is a leading contract manufacturing partner for the Nutraceutical, Pharmaceutical, and health and wellness industries. We manufacture gummies, nutrition bars, powders, capsules, tablets, liquids, and softgels for private-label and custom-formulation needs.

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Plant Head – Gummies to lead end-to-end Gummies manufacturing operations, ensuring production efficiency, quality, productivity, cost control, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end Gummies plant operations and production planning.
- Manage production targets, manpower, productivity, yield, and capacity utilization.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, quality and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot production/process-related issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with R&D;,



QA/QC, PPIC, Engineering, Purchase and Warehouse.
- Support Gummies R&D; trials, process development, scale-up, and commercialization.
- Monitor production losses, rejection, wastage, and manufacturing costs.
- Lead, train, and develop the Gummies production team.
- Ensure plant readiness for customer, quality, and regulatory audits.

Candidate Profile

- 10–15+ years of experience in Production / Plant Operations.
- Strong hands-on experience in Gummies manufacturing.
- Experience in Nutraceutical / Pharmaceutical / Food / Supplement manufacturing.
- Valuable knowledge of Gummies formulation, R&D;, process development, and scale-up.
- Strong understanding of GMP, documentation, and quality systems.
- Proven leadership and team-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and operational management capabilities.

Qualification: B.Tech / B.Pharm / M.Pharm / M.Sc. / Food Technology or relevant qualification.
