About Aerobix
Aerobix is Malappuram's first tech-enabled fitness clinic, combining scientific coaching, InBody body composition analysis, and structured post-rehabilitation strength training. We are known for bridging the gap between physiotherapy discharge and return to full function/sport a space most gyms and clinics ignore.
We are now expanding our in-house rehab arm and hiring a Physiotherapist to lead assessments, hands-on treatment, and the bridge into our post-rehab strength programs (ACL, knee, shoulder, sports injury, post-surgical, chronic pain).
Role Overview
You will be the clinical face of Aerobix's rehab division. You'll assess clients, design treatment plans, deliver hands-on physiotherapy sessions, and hand over cases smoothly to our strength coaches for post-rehab programming.
This is not a typical hospital OP role. You'll work inside a premium fitness clinic with modern equipment, a coaching team, and clients who are motivated to recover fully not just get "pain-free."
Key Responsibilities
Clinical
- Conduct detailed musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and sports injury assessments
- Design and deliver individualized physiotherapy treatment plans
- Perform manual therapy, mobilization, dry needling (if certified), taping, and electrotherapy where indicated
- Prescribe and progress therapeutic exercises
- Manage post-surgical cases (ACL, meniscus, rotator cuff, spinal, joint replacement)
- Handle sports injury rehab and chronic pain cases (low back, knee, shoulder, neck)
Bridge to Strength
- Co-design the transition from rehab → post-rehab strength with our coaching team
- Screen clients before they enter Aerobix strength/fitness programs
- Provide return-to-training and return-to-sport clearance
Client Experience & Documentation
- Maintain clear clinical notes, assessment reports, and progress tracking
- Educate clients on their condition, expectations, and recovery timelines
- Deliver a premium, professional consultation experience
Team & Growth
- Coordinate with strength coaches, dietitian, and sales team
- Contribute to content (short educational reels, patient education material) — optional but appreciated
- Stay updated on evidence-based rehab practices
Requirements
- BPT / MPT from a recognized institution
- Valid registration with the relevant state council
- Fluent in Malayalam & English
- Strong clinical assessment and manual therapy skills
- Comfortable working with active/athletic clients, not just OP patients
- Certifications in dry needling, MFR, MET, sports rehab, or manual therapy are a strong plus
- MPT (Orthopedics / Sports) preferred but not mandatory
- Freshers with excellent fundamentals and strong internship exposure are welcome
What We Offer
- Competitive fixed salary + per-case incentives
- Work inside a fully-equipped modern fitness clinic
- Direct collaboration with strength & conditioning coaches
- Transparent growth path: Physiotherapist → Clinical Lead → Head of Rehab
- Continuous learning budget for certifications and workshops
- Premium clientele — motivated, compliant, and results-driven
- Free access to Aerobix training and InBody assessments
- 6-day work week with fixed weekly off
- Part-time / consulting model also available for experienced physios
Work Schedule
- Full-time: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour break)
- Part-time slots: negotiable (morning or evening blocks)
- Sunday off / Rotational weekly off
Ideal Candidate Profile You're a physio who's frustrated with the "3 sessions and discharge" model. You believe rehab doesn't end when pain goes it ends when the client is stronger than before the injury. You want to work in a setting where the strength coach, dietitian, and physio are on the same team, not in silos.
