About The Role

We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications that are secure, scalable, and high-performing. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, QA engineers, and project managers, to deliver comprehensive solutions that align with client requirements and industry best practices.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience of 3+ years in PHP development, particularly with PHP 8+ and frameworks like CodeIgniter, is essential. Strong knowledge of MVC architecture, object-oriented programming, and RESTful API development is required.

Candidates should have a solid understanding of database design and optimization with MySQL, along with frontend skills such as JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.





Experience with version control systems like Git, API debugging tools such as Postman, and familiarity with security best practices in web development are also necessary.

Certifications related to web security and PHP development will be considered an added advantage.

Responsibilities

As a PHP Developer at Acufore India Private Limited, your key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performance web applications using PHP. You will build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services, ensuring seamless communication between different system components. Developing backend modules following MVC architecture with CodeIgniter will be a core part of your role, along with designing, writing, and optimizing complex MySQL queries, stored procedures, indexes, and database structures.

You will implement authentication, authorization, session management, and role-based access control to ensure application security.

Identifying and fixing security vulnerabilities, performance bottlenecks, and bugs will be crucial to maintaining application integrity and efficiency. You will also be responsible for integrating external services such as payment gateways, email/SMS services, and other third-party APIs. Working closely with frontend developers, you will ensure API integration and development of complete application features.

Writing clean, reusable, and well-documented code is essential, along with performing debugging, unit testing, and troubleshooting production issues.

Utilizing

Git for source control,



you will follow proper branching and code review practices, participating in requirement analysis, technical discussions, testing, and deployment activities. Monitoring and optimizing application and database performance will be an ongoing task to ensure optimal response times and user experience.
