Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and manage day-to-day pharmacy operations.

- Ensure proper dispensing of medicines as per valid prescriptions and hospital protocols.

- Maintain adequate stock levels and ensure timely procurement of medicines and medical supplies.

- Monitor inventory, expiry dates, batch numbers, and storage conditions of all medicines.

- Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issues, returns, and wastage.

- Ensure compliance with pharmacy, drug control, and hospital regulatory requirements.

- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, purchase, accounts, and other departments regarding medication requirements.

- Monitor controlled and high-alert medicines and maintain appropriate documentation.

- Conduct regular stock verification and reconcile physical stock with system records.

- Supervise pharmacy staff, prepare duty schedules, and monitor their performance.

- Ensure proper handling of near-expiry and expired medicines.

- Address patient/staff queries related to medicine availability and billing.

- Implement proper infection control, safety, and housekeeping practices within the pharmacy.

- Prepare pharmacy-related reports and submit them to the management as required.
