Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and responsible Pharmacist to manage day-to-day pharmacy operations and ensure safe and accurate dispensing of medicines. The candidate will be responsible for prescription processing, inventory management, medication storage, and coordination with doctors, nurses, patients, and hospital departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispense medicines accurately as per valid prescriptions and hospital protocols.
- Verify prescriptions for appropriate medication, dosage, and instructions.
- Provide patients with proper information regarding medication usage as required.
- Maintain accurate records of medicines issued, received, and returned.
- Monitor medicine stock levels and prepare purchase/requisition requests.
- Maintain proper storage conditions for medicines as per applicable requirements.
- Monitor expiry dates and ensure timely removal of expired/near-expiry medicines.
- Maintain records for controlled, high-alert, and other regulated medicines as applicable.
- Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff regarding medication-related queries.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for medicine procurement and deliveries.
- Check received medicines for quantity, batch number, expiry date, and quality.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory and stock registers.
- Ensure proper billing and documentation of pharmacy transactions.




- Follow hospital pharmacy policies, infection-control practices, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Support regular stock audits and reconciliation.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the pharmacy area.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and professional conduct.
- Perform other pharmacy-related duties assigned by management.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- D.Pharm / B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the applicable State Pharmacy Council.
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in hospital/clinical pharmacy preferred.
- Good knowledge of medicines, dosage forms, and prescription handling.
- Knowledge of pharmacy inventory and stock management.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with pharmacy/Hospital Management Software.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
- Good command of English, Hindi, and Gujarati preferred.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in hospital pharmacy will be preferred.
- Experience in oncology/cancer care pharmacy will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of chemotherapy medicines and handling procedures will be preferred where applicable.
- Experience with pharmacy inventory, purchase, and stock audits.

Working Hours Full-Time – Rotational Shift as per Hospital Duty Roster

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
