Meta Ads • Google Ads • Amazon Ads • Quick Commerce Location: Pune

Work Mode: Full-time | Hybrid

Experience: 3–7 years

Compensation: ₹50,000–₹80,000/month + performance incentives up to ₹5 lakh

About the Role We are looking for a performance marketer who is obsessed with numbers, experiments and growth.

Someone who doesn't just know how to run Meta Ads — but understands why an ad wins, why it loses, how many creatives to test, which audiences to explore, when to kill an ad, when to scale it, and how to turn paid acquisition into a predictable growth engine. Meta should be your deepest area of expertise.

You should have experience scaling a brand or working with an agency where you have managed significant budgets and contributed to $1M+ in attributable revenue or equivalent scale, with a strong understanding of ROAS, CAC, contribution margin and profitability.

What you'll own

- META ADS — THIS IS YOUR CORE JOB You will own the entire Meta performance engine.

Not just campaign execution.

You will be responsible for:

- Campaign architecture and account structure
- Prospecting vs retargeting strategy
- Audience discovery
- Broad vs interest vs lookalike strategies
- Creative testing frameworks
- Hook testing
- Copy testing
- Offer testing
- Landing-page testing
- Budget allocation
- Campaign scaling
- Retargeting
- Frequency management
- CAC / ROAS optimisation
- Attribution analysis
- Daily performance monitoring
- Weekly growth analysis

You should be able to answer questions like:

How many creatives should we launch this week?Which 5 audiences should we test next and why? When do you kill an ad?When do you increase budget by 20%, 50% or 2X?Is the problem the creative, audience, offer, landing page or product? Why did CPM increase? Why is CTR falling? Why is Meta giving us cheap clicks but expensive purchases? What is our real CAC after considering contribution margin?

- Build a creative testing machine: You will work closely with the creative team to create a systematic testing engine.

You will decide

- What creatives need to be made
- How many variants to test
- Which hooks to test
- Which angles to test
- Which formats to test
- Which audience each creative is intended for
- Which winning creatives should be scaled
- Which losers should be killed

For example:

10 hooks × 3 visual executions × 2 offers should not be random experimentation.

You should be able to build a structured testing matrix and understand which variable is actually driving performance.

3. Creative Intelligence

You won't just consume creatives.

You'll help create them.

You should be comfortable with:

- Canva
- AI image generation
- AI video tools
- ChatGPT
- AI copywriting tools
- Basic Photoshop / Figma is a plus
- Meta Creative tools
- Rapid static ad creation

You should be capable of saying:

“This concept needs to be tested today.”

…and then actually making a usable first version yourself rather than waiting two days for a designer.

4. Google Ads

You will also manage / work closely on:

- Google Search
- Performance Max
- Shopping
- Brand vs non-brand
- Keyword research
- Search intent
- Negative keywords
- Conversion tracking
- Budget allocation
- ROAS / CAC optimisation
- Landing-page optimisation

Meta will be your specialisation; Google should be a strong secondary capability.

5. Amazon Ads

Hands-on experience with Amazon advertising is required.

You should understand

- Sponsored Products
- Sponsored Brands
- Sponsored Display
- Keyword strategy
- Search term analysis
- Product targeting
- Competitor targeting
- Amazon ROAS / TACoS
- Organic + paid interaction
- Product detail page optimisation

6. Quick Commerce

Experience with platforms such as:

- Blinkit
- Zepto
- Swiggy Instamart
- Amazon Fresh / other relevant platforms

You should understand how paid visibility, search placement, product availability, pricing, promotions and conversion interact on quick-commerce platforms.

7. Competitor & Market Intelligence

This is another area I would make a core responsibility, because it differentiates this role.

You should constantly be researching:

Competitor Ads

- What are competitors advertising?
- Which creatives are they repeatedly running?
- What hooks are they using?
- What offers are they pushing?
- Which products are they promoting?
- How are they positioning themselves?

Competitor Products

- Pricing
- Bundles
- Offers
- Reviews
- Ratings
- Product positioning
- Claims
- Landing pages
- Amazon listings

Audience Intelligence

- Who are competitors speaking to?
- What problems are they addressing?
- What objections are consumers raising?
- What language are customers using?

Tools

You should be comfortable using relevant tools such as:

- Meta Ads Library
- Similarweb
- SEMrush / Ahrefs
- Google Trends
- Amazon research tools
- Social listening tools
- Ad intelligence platforms
- Competitor tracking tools
- AI research tools

You don't need to know every tool. You need to know how to find the answer.

8. Data & Analytics

You should live inside numbers.

Track and analyse

CTR

CPC

CPM

Hook Rate

Hold Rate

CVR

CAC

CPA

AOV

ROAS

MER

LTV

Contribution Margin

Frequency iROAS

And importantly

Understand the relationship between them.

For example

CPM ↑ → CTR ↓ → CPC ↑ → CVR ↓ → CAC ↑

You should be able to identify where the actual problem is instead of simply saying:

“Meta performance has gone down.”

9. Scaling

We are specifically looking for someone who has actually scaled campaigns, not someone who has only managed ₹2–5 lakh/month budgets.

You should have experience with:

- Scaling winning campaigns
- Increasing spend without destroying efficiency
- Creative fatigue
- Audience saturation
- Budget reallocation
- Geographic expansion
- New product launches
- New customer acquisition
- Retention / remarketing
- Scaling from ₹X/day → ₹X lakh/day

We want someone who can demonstrate:

“This was the starting point.

This was the budget.

This was the CAC/ROAS.

This is what I changed.

This is where we reached.”

10. Build the Performance Marketing Dashboard

You will own weekly performance reporting.

Not vanity reports.

Every week you should be able to tell the founders:

WHAT HAPPENED?

WHY DID IT HAPPEN?

WHAT DID WE LEARN?

WHAT ARE WE TESTING NEXT?

WHERE SHOULD WE PUT MORE MONEY?

WHERE SHOULD WE STOP SPENDING?

The Person We Are Looking For

You might be the right person if:

- You genuinely enjoy Meta Ads.
- You spend time inside Ads Manager even when nobody asks you to.
- You understand creative performance.
- You obsess over CAC and ROAS.
- You have personally scaled campaigns.
- You know how to structure experiments.
- You understand audiences deeply.
- You are comfortable with large budgets.
- You can work with founders directly.
- You can create a quick ad yourself.
- You use AI to accelerate your workflow.
- You are constantly researching competitors.
- You are uncomfortable making decisions without data.

You are probably NOT the right person if:

- Your primary skill is simply campaign setup.
- You outsource every creative decision.
- You only know boosted posts.
- You cannot explain why an ad won.
- You have never personally scaled spend.
- You report impressions and reach but don't understand unit economics.
- You need someone else to tell you what to test.

Mandatory Experience

I'd make these requirements quite specific:

Required:

- 3–7 years performance marketing experience
- Robust hands-on Meta Ads experience
- Experience with either a D2C brand or performance marketing agency
- Demonstrated experience managing substantial advertising budgets
- Experience contributing to $1M+ in attributable revenue / GMV
- Strong understanding of CAC, ROAS, LTV and contribution margin
- Google Ads experience
- Amazon Ads experience
- Quick-commerce advertising experience
- Canva + AI creative tools
- Strong analytical skills
- Competitor research / ad intelligence experience

Preferred:

- Food / FMCG / nutrition / wellness / beauty / D2C experience
- Experience scaling a consumer brand
- Experience launching a new product from zero
- Experience working directly with founders
- Basic design/video editing ability
- Strong understanding of landing-page CRO
