Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform eye tests on children to detect any vision problems or abnormalities.
- Conduct developmental screenings to identify potential issues with child's visual system.
- Diagnose and treat various eye conditions affecting children, including refraction errors, amblyopia, and strabismus.
- Prescribe glasses or contact lenses as necessary for corrective purposes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for pediatric patients.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 2-7 years of experience in pediatrics optometry or related field.
- B.Sc (Optometry) degree from a recognized institution.
- fellowship in pediatric optometry, binocular vision, or vision therapy for hands-on
- Robust knowledge of binocular vision assessment, developmental screening, and objective testing techniques.
- Ability to work effectively with children aged 0-18 years old.
