Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Mainframe Developer with strong experience in COBOL, JCL, and knowledge in Natural ADABAS to work on the development, maintenance, and enhancement of critical mainframe applications. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of legacy systems along with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and Natural ADABAS
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Perform coding, testing, debugging, and implementation of programs
- Support batch and online processing environments
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
- Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to development standards




- Participate in system upgrades, migration, and modernization initiatives

Required Skills:

- Strong hands-on experience in COBOL programming and JCL
- Good understanding of mainframe architecture and batch processing
- Experience in debugging and performance tuning
- Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
- Exposure to version control tools and change management processes
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Good to Have Skills:

- Knowledge of Natural ADABAS, CICS, and DB2
- Exposure to mainframe modernization tools
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
