Company Description Project Sathi is a non-profit organization focused on raising awareness about mental health and challenging stigmas surrounding sexual and menstrual health. The organization is committed to fostering understanding, promoting open dialogue, and providing support so individuals can feel empowered on their mental health journeys.
Project
Sathi works with communities to create inclusive and safe spaces for conversations on well-being and health. In addition to awareness initiatives, Project Sathi also organizes donation drives to support individuals and communities in need.
Role Description The Outreach Head intern will lead and coordinate outreach initiatives to expand Project Sathi’s presence and impact. This remote internship role involves planning and executing awareness campaigns, building and maintaining partnerships with organizations and communities, and engaging with volunteers and stakeholders. The intern will develop outreach strategies, manage social media and communication channels for campaigns, and track engagement metrics to improve reach and effectiveness.
The Outreach
Head will collaborate with the core team to organize events, workshops, and donation drives,
while ensuring all activities align with the organization’s mission and values.
Qualifications
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse groups and build collaborative relationships.
- Experience or interest in community outreach, advocacy, or non-profit work, especially related to mental health, sexual health, or menstrual health.
- Organizational and time-management skills to coordinate multiple initiatives, events, and volunteers effectively.
- Ability to use digital tools and social media platforms for outreach, engagement, and campaign promotion.
- Empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to non-judgmental, inclusive communication.
- Comfort working independently in a remote setting and collaborating virtually with a distributed team.
- Prior leadership or coordination experience in student organizations, community groups, or similar settings is an advantage.
- Relevant academic background or interest in psychology, social work, public health, communications, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
