Experience & Salary
- Experience: Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience.
- Location: Mumbai
- Employment Type: Full-time, In office
- Maximum Salary: Up to ₹55,000 per month, depending on experience, skills, and suitability for the role.
- Preference: Candidates with strong OTA/revenue management experience and demonstrated stability in previous employment.
Role Description The OTA Executive / Assistant Revenue Manager is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai.
The role will be responsible for managing and optimizing online travel agency (OTA) channels, ensuring accurate rate loading, inventory management, availability, promotions, and overall online distribution across multiple platforms.
The individual will also support revenue management activities by monitoring demand,
analysing booking trends, tracking competitor pricing, reviewing daily pick-up, and implementing appropriate pricing and promotional strategies to maximize revenue, occupancy, and RevPAR.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize OTA channels including MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, Trip.com, and other relevant platforms.
- Ensure accurate loading of rates, inventory, room types, restrictions, promotions, and packages across all OTAs.
- Monitor daily booking pick-up, cancellations, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and revenue performance.
- Conduct regular competitor rate and market analysis.
- Assist in implementing dynamic pricing and revenue management strategies.
- Monitor rate parity and resolve discrepancies across distribution channels.
- Coordinate with Sales, Front Office, Reservations, Finance, and Hotel Operations teams.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly OTA and revenue performance reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve OTA visibility, ranking, conversion, and revenue contribution.
- Manage promotions, sponsored listings, campaigns, and other OTA marketing opportunities.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and revenue planning activities.
- Maintain strong relationships with OTA account managers and distribution partners.
- Ensure all hotel content, images, room information, policies, and other details are accurate and up to date across online channels.
Candidate Profile / Qualifications
- Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in hotel revenue management, OTA management, reservations, distribution, or a similar commercial role.
- Candidates must be based in Mumbai and be comfortable working in an on-site role.
- Strong practical knowledge of OTA platforms, channel managers, hotel PMS, and rate distribution systems.
- Good understanding of Revenue Management, pricing, demand forecasting, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and yield management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make commercially relevant recommendations.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Understanding of rate parity, promotions, inventory management, and OTA optimization.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with multiple internal teams and external partners.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple hotels, OTAs, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong career stability is preferred. Candidates with consistent tenure and a stable track record in their previous organizations will be given preference.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant professional experience may also be considered.
