nROLE OVERVIEW

nThe ORD Rider sits at the point where vehicle testing meets live customer delivery. The role runs two activities in parallel: On-Road Deployment (ORD) testing of Pluto's EV fleet under real duty cycles, and last-mile delivery execution for Pluto's clients. Every shift on the road doubles as a data point on vehicle performance and a completed customer order.

nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES

nDelivery Operations

n

- Operate the assigned Pluto EV to collect orders from the spoke location and deliver them within the assigned area.
n
- Deliver a minimum of 35 orders per day - ideally 50-55 orders per day,ensuring timely pick-up and delivery of all orders assigned through the platform.
n
- Return undelivered or failed-delivery orders to the spoke location, or wherever instructed by the client's operations team
n
- Report to the spoke location at the scheduled reporting time on all working days.
n
- Handle all goods with due care and deliver them in the condition received, following safety and operational protocols.

nVehicle Operation & Testing

- Operate and test the assigned EV during shifts, accumulating kilometres through real delivery routes as directed by the supervisor.
n
- Maintain the EV in its provided condition, normal wear and tear excepted, and return it on termination.
n
- Charge or swap the EV battery at the Pluto Hub.
n
- Promptly and elaboratively notify of any defect, malfunction, breakdown, or damage to the EV.
n
- Report faults observed during delivery to the Quick Reaction Team.
n

nCompliance & Conduct

- Hold and maintain a valid driving licence throughout the engagement.
n
- Wear the uniform, helmet, and any specified equipment at all times while on duty.
n




- Not consume alcohol, narcotics, or controlled substances during service.
n
- Treat customers, client staff, Pluto staff, and the public with courtesy- no harassment, intimidation, discrimination, or abuse.
n
- Not solicit extra payments, tips, or consideration from customers beyond prescribed charges.

nReporting & Feedback

- Attend all training sessions, safety briefings, and meetings.
n
- Attend brief weekly check-ins with the operations team to share feedback on vehicle usability, testing insights, and deployment experience.
n
- Report accidents, incidents, customer complaints, or unusual circumstances promptly.
n
- Cooperate with any audit, inspection, or investigation by company or the client.

nQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

n

- Valid driving licence for two-wheeler/EV operation
n
- Prior experience as a delivery rider, driver, or in a similar field-based logistics role preferred.
n
- ITI Diploma
n
- Comfortable navigating assigned areas and working with app-based order/delivery platforms.
n
- Basic ability to read and follow instructions in Hindi/English; transparent communication with customers.
n

nGOOD TO HAVE

- Prior exposure to EV operation or battery-swap workflows.

- Experience working in hub-and-spoke or last-mile delivery operations.
n
- Familiarity with reporting faults or incidents through digital tools (WhatsApp groups, trackers, apps).
