Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Senior Resident – Ophthalmology to provide clinical care, assist consultants, participate in OPD/IPD and emergency services, and support undergraduate medical teaching and departmental academic activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Attend OPD, IPD and emergency ophthalmology cases.
- Examine patients and assist in diagnosis and treatment.
- Assist consultants in ophthalmic procedures and surgeries.
- Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Participate in undergraduate teaching, practicals and academic activities.




- Attend departmental meetings, case discussions and clinical presentations.
- Follow hospital protocols and applicable skilled/regulatory requirements.

Qualification
- MS / DNB in Ophthalmology or other recognized qualification applicable to the post.
- Candidates should meet the applicable eligibility requirements for appointment as Senior Resident.
- Fresh postgraduate candidates may be considered, subject to applicable institutional and regulatory requirements.
