Role Description The Operator role at Pestonics – The Pest People is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru South. The Operator is responsible for carrying out pest control treatments at customer locations, following established procedures and safety guidelines. Daily tasks include inspecting premises, identifying signs of pest activity, preparing and applying approved pest control materials, and maintaining accurate service records.

The role involves operating equipment, handling chemicals safely, and communicating clearly with customers about services performed and basic preventive measures. The Operator is also expected to follow company schedules,



maintain tools and vehicles in good condition, and collaborate with the team to ensure timely and quality service delivery.

Qualifications

- Ability to perform field operations, including inspections, treatment application, and safe handling of pest control equipment and materials.
- Basic understanding of safety practices, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE), chemical safety, and compliance with company protocols.
- Robust attention to detail for documenting services, following instructions, and maintaining accurate records.
- Effective communication skills to interact respectfully with customers, explain services, and coordinate with team members and supervisors.
- Physical stamina to work on-site, travel between locations, and perform tasks that may involve standing, walking, lifting, or working in varied environments.
- Ability to work full time on a fixed schedule, be punctual, and manage time efficiently in the field.
- Willingness to learn pest control techniques through company training; prior experience in pest management, facilities services, or field operations is an advantage.
- Minimum educational background at secondary school level or equivalent; a valid local driving license is preferred.
