Role Description The Online Math and Science Tutor is responsible for delivering live, interactive lessons to school-age students across various international curricula in a fully remote capacity. Day-to-day tasks include planning and conducting online sessions in Mathematics and Science, explaining concepts clearly, guiding problem-solving, and assigning and reviewing practice work.

The tutor will monitor student progress, provide timely feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to suit different learning styles and levels. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with families on student goals, maintaining accurate records of sessions,



and using digital tools and learning platforms to enhance engagement. This is a remote role and may involve flexible scheduling to accommodate students in multiple time zones.

Qualifications

- Strong subject-matter expertise in Mathematics and Science, with the ability to teach multiple grades and curricula (e.g., IB, IGCSE, GCSE, CBSE, ICSE, and state boards).
- Proficiency in online teaching methods, including use of video conferencing tools, digital whiteboards, and learning management systems.
- Excellent communication, explanation, and interpersonal skills to engage students and build confidence.
- Ability to assess learning needs, differentiate instruction, and design personalized lesson plans and practice materials.
- Prior experience as a tutor or teacher in Math and Science, preferably in online or blended learning environments.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills to handle scheduling, documentation, and follow-up across multiple students.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Comfort working with learners from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds; fluency in English is required.
- Reliable internet connection, a quiet workspace, and familiarity with basic computer troubleshooting.
