About the Role
We are looking for a highly energetic and execution-focused Offline Event Marketing Lead to own and scale the company's offline marketing initiatives.
This role will be responsible for planning and executing brand activations, exhibitions, retail activations, society events, corporate events, sampling campaigns and experiential marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, acquisition and sales.
The ideal candidate is someone who can take an offline campaign from idea to execution - identifying the right opportunities, building the activation plan, managing agencies and vendors, leading on-ground execution and measuring the business impact.
This is a highly hands-on role and requires someone who is comfortable being on the ground, solving problems in real time and ensuring every activation delivers against its objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Offline Marketing & Event Strategy
- Develop and execute the annual and monthly offline marketing and activation calendar .
- Identify high-impact opportunities across exhibitions, trade fairs, RWAs, retail, communities, wellness events, corporate events and other relevant channels.
- Develop activation concepts that drive brand visibility, product discovery and customer acquisition .
- Evaluate opportunities based on audience quality, expected reach, cost and potential business impact.
- Manage event budgets, timelines, resources and execution plans.
1. End-to-End Event Execution
- Own events and activations from planning → vendor coordination → setup → execution → closure → reporting .
- Manage stall design, branding, inventory, sampling material, manpower, logistics and on-ground requirements.
- Coordinate with agencies, vendors, venues, event organisers and internal teams.
- Conduct site visits and ensure readiness ahead of every activation.
- Be present on-ground to manage execution and troubleshoot issues in real time.
- Ensure brand guidelines and customer experience standards are maintained across every activation.
1. Customer Acquisition & Brand Engagement
- Design experiences that encourage customer interaction, product trials and conversion .
- Build effective sampling, demonstration and product education strategies.
- Create mechanisms to capture leads and customer data during offline activations.
- Work towards converting event footfall into measurable leads, trials, sales and repeat customers.
- Experiment with new activation formats to improve engagement and conversion.
- Ensure every offline touchpoint strengthens brand awareness and recall.
1. Partnerships & New Channels
- Identify and build partnerships with RWAs, communities, fitness centres, wellness platforms, corporates, retail partners, events and lifestyle brands .
- Explore new offline channels and formats to expand customer reach.
- Identify recurring activation opportunities that can become scalable acquisition channels.
- Support product launches, seasonal campaigns and major brand initiatives through offline activations.
1. Team & Vendor Management
- Lead and manage event executives, promoters, brand representatives and temporary manpower.
- Train teams on product knowledge, customer interaction and execution standards.
- Build and manage relationships with event agencies, vendors, organisers and venue partners.
- Negotiate commercials, deliverables and timelines with external partners.
- Ensure vendors deliver against agreed quality, timelines and budgets.
1. Performance & ROI
- Define clear KPIs for every activation based on its objective.
- Track metrics such as:
- Footfall
- Samples distributed
- Product trials
- Leads generated
- Customer acquisition
- Sales generated
- Conversion rate
- Cost per lead / acquisition
- ROI
- Maintain event-wise budgets and performance reports.
- Analyse what worked and what didn't across activations.
- Use data and customer feedback to continuously improve future campaigns.
- Build a structured database of event performance to identify the most effective offline channels.
What We're Looking For
- 3–6 years of experience in Event Marketing, BTL Marketing, Experiential Marketing, Field Marketing or Brand Activations.
- Hands-on experience managing consumer-facing events and activations .
- Experience across exhibitions, retail activations, sampling campaigns, corporate events, community activations or similar formats.
- Solid project management and vendor management skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple activations simultaneously.
- Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable managing budgets, logistics, manpower and on-ground execution.
- Strong commercial mindset with an understanding of customer acquisition and ROI .
- Comfortable working on weekends and travelling when required.
- High energy, ownership and ability to solve problems quickly on the ground.
