Footwear Merchandiser – OEM & Brand Partnerships

We are looking for an experienced Footwear Merchandiser to develop and manage our OEM/private-label business with footwear brands.

The role will involve bringing recent brands onboard for OEM manufacturing and managing the complete relationship between the brand and our factory.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and onboard footwear brands for OEM/private-label manufacturing.
- Understand buyer requirements including design, materials, colors, target price, quantity, packaging and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate product development, sampling, costing and commercialization.
- Source required materials, components, accessories, packaging and vendors.
- Work closely with suppliers, and internal production teams.
- Prepare competitive product costing and negotiate with vendors where required.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, quality, packing and dispatch teams.
- Manage sample approvals, specifications, artwork,



branding and packaging approvals.
- Track orders from sampling → confirmation → production → QC → dispatch.
- Ensure product quality and committed delivery timelines.
- Maintain regular communication with buyers and resolve development or production issues.
- Build long-term OEM relationships and generate repeat business.
- Maintain costing sheets, approvals, order details and merchandising documentation.

Candidate Profile

- 3–7+ years of experience in footwear merchandising, sourcing, OEM/private label or footwear exports.
- Experience in EVA/moulded footwear, clogs, slippers, sliders or sandals preferred.
- Strong knowledge of footwear development, sourcing, costing, production and quality.
- Good negotiation, communication and follow-up skills.
- Should be commercially minded and capable of independently handling multiple buyer accounts.
