About the Role

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced OCI Cloud Architect to manage and support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments across Development, UAT, and Production, including Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) application environments. The role requires strong expertise in cloud security, application hosting, patching, upgrades, CI/CD pipelines, and the design of highly available and disaster-resilient architectures.

Responsibilities

- Own the architecture and day-to-day operation of the OCI compartments across production, DR and non-production tiers (DEV, TST, UAT, QA, SIT).
- Maintain secure, scalable, highly available designs across regions, including VCN design, DRG/FastConnect connectivity, load balancing and public/private access separation.
- Manage Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) application environments on OCI.
- Implement and manage OCI security including IAM, policies, compartments, and access controls.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security and governance standards.
- Host, Migration, operate, and support enterprise applications on OCI, including Oracle EBS.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and automation for application and infrastructure deployments.
- Use Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for OCI provisioning and configuration.
- Design and maintain High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions for OCI and EBS.
- Run vulnerability management and enforce security and governance standards — IAM policies, compartments, identity services, auditing and logging — within the customer's retained identity and security governance model.
- Design and maintain HA and DR,



including Data Guard, remote peering and application failover; run DR tests and evidence RTO/RPO attainment.
- Perform DR testing, failover exercises, and ensure RTO/RPO objectives are met.
- Apply shift-left automation to reduce repeat incidents, and support FinOps review of compute, load balancer and storage consumption.
- Operate within the customer's change management (CAB), incident and problem management processes, respecting tenant ownership and break-glass controls retained by the customer.
- Experience operating in an ITIL-aligned managed service with SLA/XLA reporting and multi-vendor governance.
- Excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder communication; comfortable working within a shift roster.
- OCI Architect Professional and/or Oracle EBS certifications preferred.
- Monitor performance, availability, capacity, and cost across OCI and EBS environments.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, database, and application issues across all environments.
- Monitor performance, availability, capacity and cost; troubleshoot across infrastructure, database and platform layers.
- Maintain architecture diagrams, SOPs and runbooks; participate in service governance and reporting against SLA/XLA measures.
- Collaborate with application, database, DevOps, and security teams.

Qualifications

- Experience: 15 + Years




- OCI Architect Professional and/or Oracle EBS certifications preferred.
- OCI Architect and/or Oracle EBS certifications (preferred).

Required Skills

- Deep hands-on OCI experience — networking, security, governance, compartment and tenancy design, multi-region architecture.
- Proven experience running Oracle EBS environments at the infrastructure, OS and database layers, in a shared-responsibility model alongside an application partner.
- Oracle Database 19c on Exadata (Exadata VM clusters / DB Systems), Data Guard, backup and recovery.
- Terraform and CI/CD pipeline delivery; automation-first operating mindset.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Proven experience managing Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) hosted environments.
- Experience supporting Dev, UAT, and Production environments.
- Strong understanding of OCI networking, Security, and governance.
- Expertise in Oracle EBS administration, patching, cloning, Migration and upgrades.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
- Strong knowledge of High Availability and Disaster Recovery architectures.
- Experience with Oracle Databases (Autonomous, DB Systems, Exadata preferred).
- Strong Linux administration and scripting skills (Bash, Python).
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- OCI Architect Qualified and/or Oracle EBS certifications preferred.
- OCI Architect and/or Oracle EBS certifications (preferred).
- Experience operating in an ITIL-aligned managed service with SLA/XLA reporting and multi-vendor governance.
