Job Title: Senior Observability Engineer (Grafana)

Location: Mumbai (Hybrid – 2 days/week in office, mandatory)

Experience: 10+ years in IT/Infrastructure, with 4+ years hands-on Grafana experience

Role Overview:

We're looking for a Senior Observability Engineer to design, build, and maintain monitoring and visualization solutions using Grafana. You'll work closely with DevOps, SRE, and Engineering teams to ensure high system observability and reliability, ideally within a pharma or life sciences commercial context.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and manage Grafana dashboards for infrastructure, application, and business metrics
- Integrate Grafana with data sources (Prometheus, Loki, Elasticsearch, InfluxDB, etc.)
- Set up alerting rules, notification policies, and SLO/SLA tracking
- Optimize dashboard performance and standardize monitoring practices across teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including commercial/business stakeholders) to define observability requirements




- Troubleshoot data pipeline and visualization issues

Required Skills:

- 10+ years overall technical experience; 4+ years specifically with Grafana
- Robust knowledge of Prometheus, Loki, and/or other time-series databases
- Experience with alerting, dashboard-as-code (JSON/provisioning), and Grafana plugins
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments (Kubernetes/Docker)
- Scripting skills (Python/Bash) for automation

Preferred:

- Exposure to pharma/life sciences commercial operations (sales analytics, HCP data, patient data platforms, or similar)
- Understanding of commercial KPIs/metrics relevant to pharma business dashboards

Nice to Have:

- Grafana certification
- Experience with OpenTelemetry, Datadog, or similar observability tools
