Title : AWS / OS Linux Support Engineer

Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced AWS / OS Linux Support Engineer with experience in AWS cloud services and Linux system administration. The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience in AWS infrastructure, RHEL Linux, SAP systems on AWS, automation, security, networking, and production support.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and support AWS services including EC2, Backup, Lambda, CloudWatch, Config, CloudTrail, IAM, KMS, and CloudFormation.
- Support SAP systems on AWS, including cluster management, HANA/Oracle databases, and high-availability environments.
- Administer RHEL/Linux and Windows servers, including patch management, volume management, firewall configuration, kernel management, and OS troubleshooting.
- Implement infrastructure automation using CloudFormation/Terraform, along with scripting using Python and Bash Shell.
- Implement security controls and OS hardening practices, including CIS standards, malware/antivirus controls, secret management, and secure configurations.
- Manage configuration using tools such as Ansible/Chef and work with AWS CLI, JSON, and YAML.
- Provide L2/L3 support for critical production issues while following change management and SLA requirements.




- Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the scalability, security, performance, and reliability of cloud services.
- Support networking components including TCP/IP, IP routing, NAT, firewalls, DNS, LDAP, and HTTP proxies.
- Work with web servers such as Apache, NGINX, and IIS, and support basic CI/CD environments using GitHub/GitLab.
- Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable cloud services for SAP and web applications.

Requirements :

- 5+ years of relevant experience in AWS and Linux System Administration.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS.
- 5+ years of experience in Linux System Administration.
- 4+ years of experience with Python.
- Strong experience supporting production cloud environments.
- RHEL or AWS certification is mandatory.
