: MANAGER - NRW EXPERT

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Non-Revenue Water (NRW) Expert to lead our efforts in helping clients diagnose, quantify, and reduce water losses across distribution networks. You will work closely with our engineering, R&D;, and field operations teams to translate robotic inspection data into actionable NRW reduction strategies for utility clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead NRW audits and water balance assessments for client utilities, applying IWA/AWWA methodologies
- Analyze pipeline inspection data (leak detection, sonar, diameter mapping) to identify physical and commercial losses
- Design and recommend District Metered Area (DMA) strategies, pressure management plans, and active leakage control programs
- Deploy and interpret acoustic leak detection technologies to pinpoint leaks across distribution networks with precision
- Support pre-sales and client demos by translating technical inspection outputs into NRW reduction value propositions
- Prepare technical reports, NRW reduction roadmaps, and ROI models for utility clients




- Train and support client-side teams and Solinas field teams on NRW best practices

Requirements:

- Bachelors/Masters degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering (or related field)
- 5+ years of experience in water utility operations, NRW management, or water loss consulting
- Strong knowledge of water balance methodology, DMA design, pressure management, and leak detection technologies
- Familiarity with SCADA, GIS, and hydraulic modeling tools is a plus
- Experience working with municipal or government water utilities preferred
- Excellent client-facing and report-writing skills
- Willingness to travel for client site assessments and demos

Nice to Have:

- Experience with robotic/acoustic pipeline inspection technologies
- IWA Water Loss Specialist certification or equivalent
