Role & responsibilities

- Act as the primary nodal point for legal, compliance, and risk operations in the region.

- Coordinate with government authorities for licensing, audits, regulatory clearances, and compliance checks.

- Monitor and ensure adherence to safety protocols (fire, security), house-rules, and emergency SOPs in all residences.

- Liaise with property managers, residence captains, operations, and legal teams to implement and enforce policy.

- Conduct periodic risk assessments and audits; lead corrective action planning.

- Serve as escalation point during crises (security threats, regulatory notices, onsite incidents) and work with relevant authorities.

- Develop, refine, and roll out policies for compliance, resident behavior, and safety.

- Train on-ground teams (residence captains, security) on compliance, emergency response, and legal/regulatory matters.

- Generate reports on compliance status, incidents, and audit findings; present them to senior leadership.





- Support strategic decisions related to property expansion, risk mitigation, or investments from a compliance perspective.

Preferred candidate profile

- LLB or relevant degree; additional degree in business / real estate / operations is desirable.

- 5-10 years of experience in legal compliance, operations, or real estate management.

- Solid knowledge of local housing laws, municipal regulations, licensing, and safety compliance.

- Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships (government, internal teams, external vendors).

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Leadership and crisis management experience.

- Analytical mindset, with experience in audits / risk assessment.

- Ability to travel regionally and engage with multiple residences.
