ROLE

Systrome Networks is looking for a Network Engineer with 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Routers, Switches, SD-WAN, Firewalls and Linux for network deployment, configuration, troubleshooting and customer support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Configure, deploy and troubleshoot Routers and L2/L3 Switches.

· Work with TCP/IP, VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP, NAT, ACL and QoS.

· Configure and troubleshoot SD-WAN, including underlay/overlay, IPsec tunnels, routing and application-based policies.

· Configure and troubleshoot Firewalls, VPN, NAT and security policies.

· Perform Linux-based network troubleshooting, system administration and CLI operations.

· Perform network monitoring,



fault diagnosis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

· Support deployment, commissioning, FAT/SAT and customer-site activities.

· Prepare network configurations and technical documentation.

REQUIRED SKILLS

· Strong fundamentals in Routing & Switching, SD-WAN and Network Security.

· Valuable working knowledge of Linux OS, Linux networking commands and troubleshooting.

· Hands-on CLI-based troubleshooting experience.

· Exposure to multi-vendor networking equipment preferred.

· CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certification will be an advantage.

· Basic knowledge of Shell Scripting/Python is desirable.

· Good communication and customer-handling skills.

· Willingness to travel to customer sites when required.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT

- Mandatory: B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), or a related engineering discipline.
