Job Summary

- We are looking for an experienced .NET Technical Lead with strong hands-on experience across multiple versions of the .NET Framework. The ideal candidate will also have significant experience supporting and maintaining enterprise applications, particularly those built on .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8, along with the ability to understand, troubleshoot, and bridge applications across different .NET frameworks and technologies.

- The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with legacy and Microsoft .NET technologies, Windows applications, Windows Services, Web Services, SQL Server, and database troubleshooting.

- The candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership for production support activities, troubleshooting application and database issues, coordinating incident resolution, and ensuring application availability and stability

- Strong knowledge of the Insurance domain and experience working on insurance applications and business processes is added advantage

Key Responsibilities

- Lead day-to-day production/application support activities for .NET-based applications as per the client work schedule

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, service, and database issues.

- Analyze application logs, Windows Services, Web Services, and database issues.

- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring and critical production incidents.

- Coordinate with core SME team, infrastructure, database, QA, and business teams for issue resolution.





- Manage and prioritize production incidents based on business impact and severity.

- Participate in Code merging and release activities for QA and production deployments

- Maintain support documentation, technical procedures, and knowledge-base articles.

- Identify opportunities for application performance improvement and stability.

- Support audit, compliance, and change-management activities as required.

Key Technical Requirements

- .NET / Application Support

- 10+ years of experience supporting .NET applications.

- Strong working knowledge of .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.5.

- Hands-on experience supporting Windows Applications.

- Experience supporting Windows Services.

- Experience troubleshooting Web Services.

- Strong understanding of VB and .NET application architecture.

- Ability to analyze application errors, logs, exceptions, and production issues.

- Experience supporting legacy .NET applications is highly desirable.

- Source Control

- Hands-on experience with Vault Source Control.

- Understanding of source-code versioning, branching, releases, and deployment processes.

- Ability to retrieve and compare source code for production issue investigation.

- SQL Server / Database Support





- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server.

- Good knowledge of PL/SQL.

- Strong troubleshooting skills involving SQL queries, stored procedures, jobs, and database connectivity.

- Experience with database performance optimization and tuning.

- Knowledge of database backup and restore processes.

- Ability to investigate database-related production issues and performance problems.

- Experience analyzing long-running queries, blocking, and other database performance issues.

- Ability to understand existing application architecture and dependencies.

- Experience creating and maintaining support documents, technical specifications, troubleshooting guides, and application flow documentation.

- Ability to document Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions.
