Role Description The Music Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. The role involves planning and delivering individual and group music lessons, with a focus on building strong foundational skills and preparing learners for performances and graded examinations.

The Music

Teacher will design lesson plans aligned with Abians’ curriculum, evaluate learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate learning records.

Responsibilities include preparing students for London College of Music examinations,



collaborating with other faculty on program development, and supporting recitals, workshops, and internal events.

Teacher will also communicate regularly with learners and families to ensure a positive, motivating, and inclusive learning setting.

Qualifications

- Strong grounding in Music Theory and general Music knowledge, with the ability to explain concepts clearly to learners of different levels.
- Demonstrated Music Performance skills, preferably with experience in concerts, recitals, or examinations.
- Background in Music Education, including experience planning lessons, assessing learner progress, and adapting teaching methods.
- Proficiency in Piano, with the ability to teach graded levels; additional instruments are an advantage.
- Relevant music qualification or diploma from a recognized institution; international certification (e.g., LCM or equivalent) is a plus.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a learner-centered, inclusive teaching approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a professional music school environment and support events and examination activities.
- Solid organizational skills, reliability in maintaining lesson schedules, and commitment to professional development.
