Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage MRD (Medical Records Department) operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee data management activities, including auditing and quality control processes.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols for medical records maintenance.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate documentation of patient information.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on MRD policies, procedures, and best practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Solid understanding of EMR/HIS proficiency, ICD coding & medical terminology knowledge.
- Excellent data management & auditing skills; ability to analyze complex data sets effectively.
- Proven track record of regulatory compliance; familiarity with relevant regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Technology or related field.
