You will work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and BI developers to enable a robust, scalable, and high-performing modern data platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric components (Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2, Pipelines, Notebooks).
- Develop and manage Lakehouse architecture using Delta tables and medallion patterns (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT workflows for data ingestion from various sources (e.g., SAP, OData, APIs, Azure Data Sources).
- Collaborate with Power BI developers to ensure effective semantic modeling and visualization layer integration.
- Optimize query performance and manage resource allocation across Fabric capacities.
- Implement and monitor incremental refresh, data quality checks, and job scheduling for near real-time insights.
- Maintain data governance and security best practices, including access control and lineage tracking.

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, especially Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2, Pipelines, and Notebooks.
- Strong knowledge of Delta Lake, PySpark, T-SQL, and M (Power Query).
- Solid understanding of data modeling (star schema, dimensional modeling) and medallion architecture principles.
- Familiarity with Power BI and integrating semantic models with Lakehouse.
- Experience working with cloud platforms like Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, or similar.
- Ability to manage large datasets (10M+ rows), optimize performance, and handle mission-critical workloads.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps for DataOps, or Fabric Deployment Pipelines.
- Knowledge of Python for data transformation within notebooks.
