Stride Logistics & Consultants is hiring an experienced Senior Accounting Associate to support the accounting operations of a North American retail/apparel business.

This is not an entry-level accounting or general finance role. We are specifically looking for candidates with hands-on Microsoft Dynamics ERP experience, strong accounting fundamentals, retail-sector experience, and exposure to US accounting operations.

Mandatory Requirements

- Hands-on Microsoft Dynamics ERP experience – MUST HAVE
- 5+ years of hands-on accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Robust knowledge of Accounting Fundamentals
- Hands-on experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Strong experience in General Ledger (GL) accounting
- Hands-on experience with bank, credit card, vendor and balance-sheet reconciliations
- Experience preparing journal entries, accruals, prepayments and accounting adjustments
- Strong experience in month-end and year-end closing
- Experience in bookkeeping and maintaining complete accounting records
- Retail-sector accounting experience – MUST HAVE




- Experience handling or supporting US accounts / US accounting operations – MUST HAVE
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent spoken and written English communication – MUST HAVE
- Ability to communicate professionally in Hindi - MUST HAVE
- Ability to independently manage accounting activities while working during US EST hours

Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage day-to-day accounting activities using Microsoft Dynamics ERP
- Manage AP, AR and General Ledger
- Process vendor invoices, customer billing, payments and receipts
- Perform bank, credit card, vendor and balance-sheet reconciliations
- Prepare and post journal entries and accounting adjustments
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and supporting documentation
- Support inventory-related accounting and reconciliations
- Take ownership of month-end and year-end closing activities
- Review accounts, investigate discrepancies and ensure timely resolution
- Prepare accounting schedules and reports
- Coordinate with the North American finance/accounting team as required
