Microsoft Data Loss Prevention Engineer

Location: Ambattur

Role Overview

We are looking for a Microsoft Data Loss Prevention (DLP) qualified experienced in security alert monitoring, incident investigation, DLP policy management, and data protection across endpoint, network, email, and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor, investigate, and triage DLP security alerts and incidents.
- Analyze DLP events across endpoint, network, email, and cloud/CASB/SaaS channels.
- Conduct deep-dive investigations into potential data leaks and unauthorized data sharing.
- Investigate insider threat activities and determine malicious versus accidental exposure.
- Create, test, update, and tune DLP policies and data classification rules.




- Reduce false positives and improve DLP detection accuracy.
- Coordinate containment and remediation activities for confirmed data exposures.
- Work with Legal, Privacy, HR, and IT Operations during sensitive-data investigations.
- Maintain detailed investigation documentation and incident logs.
- Track DLP KPIs and prepare regular reporting on data-risk trends.
