Role Overview :

We are seeking a Consultant Lead SAP FICO with robust experience in SAP Financial Accounting, Controlling, and SAP S/4HANA Finance.

The Consultant

Lead will own the FICO functional workstream and be responsible for solution design, implementation, integration, stakeholder management, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead SAP FICO implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.
- Lead business requirement workshops and translate requirements into SAP FICO solutions.
- Own solution design, configuration, testing, UAT, cutover, and Go-Live activities.
- Lead General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting processes.
- Lead Controlling processes including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Profitability Analysis (COPA).
- Support Financial Closing, Taxation, Payment Processes, Asset Accounting, and Electronic Bank Statement processes.
- Coordinate with ABAP and technical teams for enhancements, interfaces, reports, and integrations.
- Troubleshoot complex functional issues and provide root-cause analysis.
- Lead functional discussions with business stakeholders and project teams.




- Review functional deliverables and ensure quality and adherence to project standards.
- Mentor and guide SAP FICO consultants and support knowledge transfer.
- Identify process improvements and recommend SAP solutions aligned with business requirements.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP FICO and SAP S/4HANA Finance.
- Excellent knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and COPA.
- Good understanding of Financial Closing, Taxation, Payment Processes, and integration with other SAP modules.
- Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, and production support projects.
- Strong client-facing, stakeholder-management, communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Ability to independently own the SAP FICO functional workstream.
- 15 - 18 years of experience in SAP FICO.
- Ability to work according to WAT time zone (12 PM to 9 PM).
- Willingness to travel to Nigeria, Ghana, Egypt, and South Africa as required.
