Role & responsibilities

- Lead the MEP design coordination and integration for precast and building projects, ensuring seamless coordination between architectural, structural, and MEP requirements.

- Review and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, HVAC, and other building services drawings and requirements.

- Ensure proper integration of MEP services with architectural layouts and precast structural elements, including openings, sleeves, embeds, shafts, service routes, and other provisions.

- Coordinate closely with Architects, Structural Engineers, BIM teams, consultants, contractors, and project teams to resolve design interfaces and clashes.

- Review MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs, technical submissions, and consultant/client requirements.

- Lead multidisciplinary design coordination and clash-detection reviews and ensure timely closure of technical issues.

- Ensure MEP provisions are incorporated at the appropriate stage of precast design and production to minimize site modifications and rework.

- Participate in technical meetings with clients, consultants, architects, and internal stakeholders.

- Provide technical support to Sales,



Estimation, Projects, Production, and Site teams on MEP-related requirements.

- Drive value engineering, design optimization, standardization, and constructability improvements across projects.

- Monitor design deliverables, schedules, and quality while ensuring adherence to applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.

- Guide and mentor MEP/BIM/design team members and support the development of internal technical capabilities.

Preferred candidate profile

- Qualification: B.Arch / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Relevant postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.

- Experience: 1017 years of relevant experience in MEP design, MEP coordination, architectural/engineering design, or building services.

- Candidates with exposure to precast construction, BIM-led project delivery, large-scale building projects, international projects, or MNC engineering environments will be preferred.
