Role Description The MEP Coordinator at Urbane – The Design Workshop will oversee Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing coordination for building projects, ensuring all systems are integrated and aligned with architectural and structural designs. This full-time, on-site role, based in Delhi, India, involves reviewing drawings and specifications, coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams, contractors, and consultants, and resolving technical clashes using BIM and other coordination tools. The MEP Coordinator will participate in project meetings, track progress of MEP installations, and support quality assurance, safety compliance,
and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
The role also includes preparing and maintaining documentation, supporting value engineering efforts, and communicating clearly with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of building services.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in MEP Coordination and Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Plumbing and other Building Services relevant to contemporary construction projects.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and related coordination software tools.
- Candidates should possess the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and building codes.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
- Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail for resolving design and site coordination issues.
- Candidates should possess a degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related discipline; prior experience in MEP coordination for building projects is highly beneficial.
