nAre you already juggling multiple agentic coding sessions while also building systems, skills and workflows to monitor and improve those processes – herding the agentic cats? Do you know what agentic harnesses are, and are you constantly closing the loop on quality, feedback, and testing in these agentic processes?

nWe are seeking an extremely motivated, hardworking, and senior engineer to augment our engineering team and lead features, design, and AI enablement at Advocara.

n

nAdvocara is addressing the multi-billion dollar crisis in US Healthcare by providing tools and processes that resolve medical billing and payment mistakes and improper denials, and related processes used to address unfair or incorrect bills.

n

nRequirements

n

nDeep and real knowledge of software engineering , efficient 10x coding capability, and familiarity with cutting-edge agentic coding techniques and the evolving AI landscape.

n

nWhile AI use is essential, we do not want blind “vibe coding” that accepts whatever result the agents produce if it runs. Knowledge of how and when to review, guide, design,



and improve quality is key.

n

nYou are also on top of the best, AI-based tools and new techniques , as they come out and mature, then reject them when something better comes along, or last month’s technique is subsumed into the frontier platforms.

n

nBeyond AI capabilities, you should be a master coder with a history of success and advancement in software development organizations.

n

nYou should have architecture and technology strategy experience , defining architecture for large projects, selecting tools and direction, with ability to produce design documentation before coding.

n

nComfort with mature coding practices such as GitHub automations, CI/CD, automated testing, and other best practices is required for this position.

n

nKnowledge of security best practices and web engineering is a plus (SSO, OAuth, OIDC, AWS security, layering)

n

nWhat you will do

n

nYou will report directly to the CTO and have responsibility for major features, recommending and collaborating on company-wide solutions and direction.

n

nMuch of our work is greenfield, or replacing older systems. This is not an incremental improvement or maintenance role.

n

nArchitectural components and directions include

- Agentic coding for use in the dev team

- AI chat advisors to support healthcare bill, coverage and insurance processing

- Hybrid Agent/Human systems (human in the loop, on the loop, handoffs etc.)

- Machine learning (in future) to refine models and improve agentic outcomes
n
- CRM and Case Management Systems, and data flows among operational systems
n
- Data integration and harmonization/transform, particularly of healthcare billing and insurance data in the US healthcare system

nDomain knowledge of Healthcare, insurance, billing, RCM or similar processes is a plus. Familiarity with graph databases, knowledge management, and/or LangGraph, are plusses.

n

nScalable consumer-facing experience is a plus.

n

nThe CTO and business group are in the US Eastern timezone, so working hours will include some IST evening time to maintain an overlap.
