Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Technician role based in Indore.
The Mechanical
Technician will perform routine and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation of machinery and systems. Day-to-day tasks include conducting inspections, executing preventive maintenance schedules, diagnosing mechanical issues, and carrying out repairs and adjustments as needed. The role involves collaborating with engineering and operations teams, documenting maintenance activities,
and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime. The technician will also adhere to safety protocols, maintain tools and spare parts, and assist in commissioning and testing equipment when required.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Maintenance & Repair and general Maintenance for mechanical systems and industrial equipment.
- Experience in Equipment Maintenance, including routine servicing, calibration, and mechanical adjustments.
- Ability to perform Preventive Maintenance, follow maintenance schedules, and apply reliability-focused practices.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting mechanical faults, diagnosing root causes, and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field; ITI or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
- Hands-on experience in industrial, infrastructure, or manufacturing environments is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of safety standards, use of hand and power tools, and basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and maintenance documentation, with solid record-keeping skills.
- Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities, with readiness to work in shifts if required.
